Sent Drifting by the Jews

According to tradition: Fourteen years after Jesus' death, Mary Magdalene, Lazarus, Martha, St. Maximin (who baptized Mary Magdalene), Sidonius ("the man born blind"), Sera (maid of Mary Magdalene), and the body of Anne (Grandmother of Jesus), was put in a sail- and oarless boat by the Jews. They were sent drifting out to sea and landed on the shores of Southern France. This legend is connected to the belief that Mary was the sister of Martha and Lazarus of Bethany.
