Artist's comment: "In this painting, I placed two kids just walking along the road. It happens a million times a day. Except this day the dark clouds are moving and forming the shape of an angel blowing a trumpet (Matt. 24:31). One child, prepared for that day, begins to rise to meet the Lord, while the other is looking down, partially in the dark. The shape of the cross, signifying the cost of eternity in Heaven, is formed by the shadow of the boy rising. The “stars” around him symbolize that magical moment of translation."
