Notes: Images on Christ Project. Luke 15:20. Artist's comment: "I suppose that I have painted the Prodigal Son more than any other subject. I am not sure why that is. I believe it is because there are so many dimensions to the parable that keep me coming back to the story. This painting is about the Father and his love for his son which is unconditional love. I am fortunate enough to be loved this way by my earthly Father as well. Christ makes many attempts to express to his disciples the depth of His love and the love of His Father. I suppose this story is the closest thing to spiritually seeing what Jesus is trying to say to his disciples as well as you and I. We will one day see as we should, hear as we should and speak as we should. When we finally stand face to face with Him we will get it. Until then we need his story to express such a state of being and He gives us the grace to be Fathers to our children as well and to practice His unconditional love."
