Artist's comment: "Many years ago, I learned the lesson that God never leaves us. What happened was one of those miraculous incidents that I will never forget. While picking up my oldest son from school, my youngest son decided to run ahead of me. My little three year old was running full steam ahead between the parked cars when I saw he was on a collision course with a car coming from the side. As my heart skipped a beat, I watched Warren run right to the edge of inevitable disaster with all of his momentum pointing forward. What happened next has forever convinced me of the truth that we are never alone. As though a giant hand had descended right at the end of the row of cars, Warren’s next step forward literally bounced him backwards. He not only stopped, he actually bounced backwards! Warren was living proof of Psalm 34:7, which says, “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.”"
