Host's comment: "God created humankind for fellowship – with Him and with each other. God longs for a relationship with every soul on earth and that relationship should be an example for our relationship with one another. Fellowship reminds us that simple activities such as friends playing football or parents playing with their children are not a waste of time but instead a valuable time of fellowship between brothers and sisters in Christ. I John 1:3."
Artist's note: "If there is such a thing as “holy” envy, then I have a case of it. When I read the Bible and try to imagine that Adam and Eve were able to walk with God in the Garden of Eden (Gen. 3:8), and that “Enoch walked with God” (Gen. 5:24), I get goosebumps. Reading further I find that both Abraham (James 2:23) and Moses (Exodus 33:11) were “friends” of God. One time while driving in the car, I asked God if He needed a friend and would He consider me? Immediately I felt foolish and thought, “Yeah right, God needs me for a friend.” The more I thought of it though, the more I became convinced that’s exactly what God wants from us. As a matter of fact, that’s why He created us…for “fellowship” (1 John 1:3). I know it’s hard to believe that Almighty God is interested in our company, but He’s holding His hand out and we’d be foolish not to take it!"
