||Faith that heals
||Oil on canvas
||Host's comment: "The weeping synagogue leader, Jairus, points the way home for Jesus to heal his daughter. Suddenly, a woman, bleeding for twelve years and impoverished from paying for ineffective treatment, boldly dives over others to touch the tassel of Jesus' garment for an immediate healing! In that electrifying moment, Jesus feels an
outpouring of His power and asks "Who touched Me?" Peter replies that many are crowding against Him. After the woman's trembling admission, Jesus tells her, "Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace." Just then a messenger approaches with news that Jairus' daughter is dead. Jesus continues on to Jairus' house where He causes the little girl to spring back to life.
