Notes: Host's comment: "The first-born son stares sadly at the lamb who was slaughtered so that he may live, while his father carries out the Lord's instructions, striking the hyssop branches with the lamb's blood on the doorway's lintel and side panels. His mother embraces the younger son while she prepares unleavened bread for tomorrow's exodus from Egypt. Both parents act with faith but shudder to think what otherwise would befall their older son as they trans-fix their attention upon him. The reflection of a cross in the basin of blood foretells the coming of Jesus the Messiah..Lamb of God... who will give up His life for our sins so that we may have eternal life. (Read Exodus 12:21-30, Isaiah 53.5 & John 19)"
