From the "St. Albans Psalter", created at St. Abans Abbey essentially by Geoffrey de Gorham (or Gorron), Abbot of St. Albans (1119-46). Litany: God looks out from Heaven onto a man who points to the tag: "God to my help hurry." With his other hand he points to a devil trying to waylay him. "Let them be thrown into confusion and be ashamed, who seek my life."
