From the "St. Albans Psalter", created at St. Abans Abbey essentially by Geoffrey de Gorham (or Gorron), Abbot of St. Albans (1119-46). Canticle: Deuteronomy 32:1-43. Moses sits with a pen and knife in his hands, writing the word "Hear the things that I speak". Behind him the sons of Israel listen and watch: "Let the earth hear the words of my mouth."
