From the "St. Albans Psalter", created at St. Abans Abbey essentially by Geoffrey de Gorham (or Gorron), Abbot of St. Albans (1119-46). Psalms 73:21f., 25: The psalmist is stripped to the waist, bending over. "Because my heart is inflamed, and my reins are changed, and I am brought to nothing and knew not. As a beast of burden I am become with you" He cranes around to fix his eyes on God in heaven. "For what have I in heaven, and besides you would I desire upon the earth."
