  Notes: From the "St. Albans Psalter", created at St. Abans Abbey essentially by Geoffrey de Gorham (or Gorron), Abbot of St. Albans (1119-46). Psalms 71:1: The psalmist clutches a book with the words "In you Lord I have hoped". With his pointing finger he communicates his hopes directly to God above who leans down, blessing.
