  Notes: From the "St. Albans Psalter", created at St. Abans Abbey essentially by Geoffrey de Gorham (or Gorron), Abbot of St. Albans (1119-46). Psalms 63:1: King David approaches Christ with a lighted candle and points to the text "To you I watch at break of day". Christ's head is illumined by a sunburst, showing he is the True Light (John 1:9). He holds a scroll in his hand and blesses David.
