From a series illustrating all the 150 psalms. Psalms 148:1. Artist's comment: "This psalm touches upon the most profound mysteries of the universe and affords us a glimpse of the relationship between the highest heavenly spheres and the lowest mundane locations. God transmits His blessings to every part of the earth via the higher celestial bodies. Here, the heavenly message is received by the devout, who amplify the heavenly songs with their own words of praise to God."
