Technique: Pen, brown ink, brown wash, blue wash, pierre noire

Notes: From a series illustrating all the 150 psalms. Psalms 55:7f. Artist's comment: "The Rambam recommends that man assume the attitude of a bird, feeling civilization as a threat to both his body and his soul. For man is influenced by environment and society. Therefore, should a man find himself in a country with much evil, he must remove himself to a different land and, if necessary, even to the wilderness to escape the detrimental influence of sinners."
