From a series illustrating all the 150 psalms. Psalms 6:5f. Artist's comment: "The Holocaust (Sho'ah): Why did it happen? Who can understand? In the painting, children and adults go up in flames. "Who will praise you in the lower world if people are dying?" asks the Tzadik of the Lord. But the answer is concealed. We just do not understand."
