From a series illustrating all the 150 psalms. Psalms 133:3. Artist's comment: "THE CHUPA (The Wedding): The Shechina marrying the Aleph (the one) -- the accomplishments of two becoming one. This happens under the Chupa. The greatest blessing is union, the union of a world in conflict. Where love exists, life can blossom. There is no greater joy, no more enlightened happiness than from the tent of union of male and female who, becoming one, and through love, procreate both the present and the future. The Scriptures say that this happens under the Chupa. Communion, songs, blessings and fate are witnesses to the blessings of the Shechina, the most joyous, gentle, merciful and loving aspect of the Holy One, Blessed Be His Name."
