Museum of Psalms, Jerusalem
From a series illustrating all the 150 psalms. Psalms 108:3f. Artist's comment: "The painting portrays the window of the King with his crown. The north wind slightly sounds the harp which hung on the wall of the room. David slept very little and very lightly. When he heard that slight sound, he immediately got up and began studying. His way of studying was to sing. When the people of Jerusalem heard that the busy King was studying, they, too, arose and began to study."
